Overview

The IOSH Leading Safely course has been designed with senior executives in mind to cover the essential information whatever the size of your organisation.  This 1 Day IOSH course will show you how investing in health and safety can result in valuable business benefits, including increased productivity, improved profits, an enhanced reputation and a stronger brand.

On successful completion of the IOSH Leading Safely course delegates should be able to: -

The IOSH Leading Safely training course will cover the following learning points: -

  •  Health & Safety and its implications for leadership roles.
  •  Leadership responsibilities and behaviours.
  •  What successful and effective health and safety leadership looks like.
  •  Implications when things go wrong.
  •  Improvements that leaders can make.
  •  Company benefits from effective safety leadership.


 

Assessment

Delegates will be asked to take part in an initial diagnostic questionnaire during this IOSH training course to review their current health and safety performance against a list of set standards. Delegates are then required to produce a personalised report based on their responsibilities suggesting recommendations for improvements. Delegates will then take part in a Case study review on how things can go wrong and putting improvements in place using a Plan-Do-Check-Act system. 

The Assessment involves completion of a personal commitment to improve their own company's health & safety procedures using information from the above studies.

IOSH will issue and email successful delegates directly with their Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate.

  • Will lunch be Included?

    The joining instructions will indicate if lunch is provided for the duration of your course.  Should you need to know prior to booking please contact one of our team who will be happy to advise.

  • When will I receive my Course Joining Instructions?

    Course joining instructions are sent 7 to 10 days prior to course commencement.  If you book within this time frame they are emailed within 24 hours of the booking being placed.

  • What time does my course start?

    Start and finish times are confirmed on your joining instructions which are issued 7 to 10 days prior to course commencement.  Failure to arrive at the requested time may result in the delegate being turned away.
