CITB Grant reclaimableThe NVQ Level 2 in Trowel Occupations course is aimed at candidates who are already working as a bricklayer and who want to achieve a qualification that recognises their skills and expertise. On successful completion of the course, students will be able to apply for their CSCS Blue Skilled Workers Card.
Topics covered by the course include how to set out and construct masonry structures and work with a variety of materials. Learners will also have the opportunity to specialise in subjects such as rendering, plastering and working with concrete.
Applicants MUST be at least 16 years old and have a good understanding of the English language. This bricklaying nvq course is designed so the learner can gain the qualification while at work and enhance their career prospects.
At the end of the NVQ Level 2 in Trowel Occupations course candidates will be able to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and skills in a number of areas including setting out, constructing and maintaining masonry structures.
