Right now, a third of the UKs female population is experiencing symptoms of menopause or perimenopause. That’s 13 million women, some of whom you will know personally or work alongside. The symptoms are wide-ranging and can seriously impact a woman’s confidence and wellbeing, especially in the workplace.
This 1-2 hour online course has been created so that managers, co-workers and those experiencing menopause can understand the symptoms, the myths, various treatments and how to make reasonable adjustments to support fellow workers. With contributions from Dr Ewa Craven, Lead GP, Principal Doctor and Advanced Menopause Practitioner, you’ll learn through a range of videos, resources, reflection points and exercises.
There’s no time limit to complete this online course, so you can work through at your own pace. It’s accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) guidelines, too.

Anyone with an interest in the stages and symptoms of menopause and perimenopause are welcome to attend this course. It’s not exclusive to those experiencing menopause – we all have a duty to understand what our fellow workers are going through and offer appropriate support. Only by educating everyone and dispelling the myths, can we create an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
We invite managers and senior members of staff to enrol, so you can learn how to approach menopause in the workplace and make reasonable adjustments for your staff.
