Hot work carries high risk of injury, damage to buildings, loss of life and serious implications for businesses. This 2-hour online training covers various types of hot work and the common hazards associated with each. You’ll learn how to carry out an effective risk assessment, take preventative measures and respond quickly in the case of an emergency.
Written by health and safety experts in accordance with UK legislation, this course will outline your responsibilities as a worker, employer or supervisor. There’s no time limit to complete the course, so you can work through at your own pace. It’s also accredited and assured by CPD and Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Qualifications.

At the end of this course, you’ll take a multiple-choice test of 20 questions. It’s marked automatically, and you’ll need 80% to pass. If you don’t pas first time, you’re welcome to re-take the test as many times as you need to at no extra cost.
On successful completion, you’ll receive a CPD-certified digital certificate straight away.
As well as conforming to CPD guidelines, this course is certified by the widely recognised Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Qualifications Assurance System.
Although there is no expiry date for this training, we recommend that you refresh your knowledge every 12 months to keep up to date. You’ll receive a ‘recommended renewal date’ on your certificate.
