About the CITB SSSTS Refresher Course
A SSSTS certification is an essential part of site safety supervisor training. The Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and is nationally recognised within the construction industry.
Who is this SSSTS Refresher Course for?
This 1 day refresher course is aimed at the same candidates as the full 2 day SSSTS course: first line managers, foreman, gangers, team leaders, supervisors and those who have, or are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities. This CITB SSSTS Refresher course should be taken by those with an existing SSSTS certificate before it is due to expires, otherwise the full SSSTS training course will have to be taken again.

- Fire risks and emergency procedures and reporting
- How the supervisory role fits in with the manager’s role in controlling the site safely
