About the CITB SMSTS Course
An SMSTS qualification is an essential part of site safety management training. The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and is nationally recognised within the construction industry.
Who should attend this SMSTS Course?
Anyone in a supervisory or management role on a construction site is legally required to undertake health and safety training to help create a safe working environment. This CITB course is recommended for site supervisors, project managers and site managers as well as proprietors of small to medium sized companies.
What Does the SMSTS Course Cover?
The SMSTS course is a 5 day course with a certificate valid for 5 years from completion. This course covers the following topics: -

There is also a 2 day CITB – SMSTS Refresher Course available to book online, also held at many of our training venues in Birmingham and the Midlands and throughout the rest of the UK. This refresher course is designed for anyone who has attended the 5 day SMSTS course, whose certificate is due to run out.
