Emergency FAW Course Overview
The Emergency First Aid at Work training course has been designed for those within a company who is likely to find themselves stepping up, or who has been appointed to take charge of first aid equipment during a first aid emergency in the absence of a qualified First Aider.
This emergency FAW course is a 1 day course recommended as the minimum level of training for persons in low-risk workplace environments. This 1 day course will help delegates to meet regulatory requirements should your risk assessment indicate that first aid training covering emergency protocols only is adequate for your workplace.
The aim of the Emergency First Aid at Work course is to provide participants with adequate knowledge and confidence to tend to an accident until a qualified first aider or the emergency services take over.
All delegates should be aware that the course is practical in nature therefore casual clothes should be worn. Female personnel attending are advised to wear trousers.
It is also strongly recommended that all first aiders complete a ½ day refresher course annually
