This 2 hour online Fire Safety Awareness Course explains how easily fires can start in the workplace, what action you can take to prevent a fire, and what to do if one breaks out while you’re at work.

You’ll learn the various roles and legal responsibilities of your colleagues, what safety measures should be in place and why it’s important to follow all fire safety procedures, even if you think the fire is under control.

If you’re responsible for the safe evacuation of workers, this course will give you a general introduction to fire safety, including how to carry out risk assessments – but you’ll need to complete further training to be a fully compliant fire warden. You’ll also need practical training on how to use firefighting equipment.

A fully remote course that you can access anywhere, this training has been written by health and safety experts in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) 2005. There’s no time limit, so you can work through the course at your own pace. It’s also accredited and assured by CPD and Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Qualifications.

Assessment

At the end of this online training course, you’ll take a multiple-choice test of 20 questions. It’s marked automatically, and you’ll need 90% to pass.

If you don't pass don't worry! You can take the test as many times as you need with no extra charge.

As well as conforming to CPD guidelines, this course is certified by the widely recognised Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Qualifications Assurance System.
