


This Paediatric First Aid course meets the requirements of the Early Years foundation stage statutory framework.
The this first aid training course focuses on emergency scenarios that are faced by professionals, including teachers, au pairs and playgroup leaders, looking after young children.
It meets Ofsted requirements for registered childminders and the requirements for nannies under the Approved Carers Scheme. It can also be used as evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education.
IMORTANT INFORMATION - From 11th February all delegates are required to wear a face covering whilst inside the training venue (unless eating or drinking). On successful completion of the course candidates will be equiped with a comprehensive range of skills to enable them to respond calmly and confidently in the event of a child becoming unwell or injuring themselves.
This course will cover the following topics: -
Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the delegate, there is no final examination. Those delegates who complete the course, and are deemed to have reached the required standard, are awarded a certificate that is valid for three years.

It is the responsibility of the employer to choose a person who can physically fulfil the role of a first aider in the workplace.
Please note that we reserve the right to prevent the delegate from completing the course if they should have any of the above problems or if they are pregnant and the trainer feels that the delegate could put themself of others in danger.
For convenience it is recommended that students wear casual clothing as courses often involve practical work.
