


During this half day AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and CPR course, delegates will learn how to identify symptoms, apply and use a defibrillator without hesitation. The training also covers basic life support and CPR in an emergency.
* There is no requirement for any student to have previous training or experience with defibrillators. *
IMORTANT INFORMATION - From 11th February all delegates are required to wear a face covering whilst inside the training venue (unless eating or drinking). On successful completion of training in the use of an AED, the delegate should be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and actions required to use an AED during the simulated resuscitation of an adult victim who has suffered a cardiac arrest.
The AED & CPR First Aid Course will Cover the following Content: -
Delegates will be assessed continuously during training by the tutor.
Anyone who may be required to operate an AED machine or wishes to expand their first aid skills & knowledge.
