Using a mixture of classroom learning and hands on practical training, this NPORS Crane/Lift Supervisor course will teach you how to supervise lifting operations, while adhering to relevant legislation and health and safety guidelines.
If you already have basic knowledge of the construction industry, plus relevant site experience including slinging and lifting operations, this course will enable you to take the next step in becoming a recognised Crane/Lift Supervisor.

At the end of this course, delegates who successfully pass the training will receive an NPORS Operator Card, which is valid for three years. Should you require the NPORS/CSCS Card (NPORS Red Trained Operators Card), you must confirm at the time of booking and provide evidence that the CSCS HSE Operatives touch screen test has been completed within the last two years.

At the end of the course, delegates are required to take an assessment paper and practical test. If successful, you’ll be awarded the traditional NPORS Operator Card, which is valid for three years.
Should you require the NPORS/CSCS Card (NPORS Red Trained Operators Card), you must confirm at the time of booking and provide evidence that you’ve completed the CSCS HSE Operatives touch screen test within the last two years.
The NPORS Red card will be valid for two years and prior to the card expiry you'll need to register for a relevant plant NVQ. After successfully completing your NVQ, you’ll be issued with a blue Competent Operators Card, which is valid for five years.
The NPORS N405 Crane/Lift Supervisor course is suitable novice delegates who have basic knowledge of the construction industry and relevant site experience including slinging and lifting operations.
